General

By using this website and booking sessions with High Five Freedivers you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not book.

Services

We offer freediving education under the Molchanovs system (Wave and Lap courses, intro to freediving), workshops, regular training and freediving trips. Programme descriptions, dates and prices on the site are for information and may change.

Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed after the details are agreed in a messenger and a deposit is paid [deposit amount — to be confirmed]. The remaining amount is paid before or on the day of the session [to be confirmed]. Prices are in Thai baht.

Cancellation and rescheduling

• Cancellation or rescheduling at least [48 hours] before the session — the deposit is kept for a new date or refunded [to be confirmed].
• Later cancellation or no-show — the deposit is non-refundable [to be confirmed].
• If a session cannot take place because of weather, sea conditions or our fault, we will offer a new date or refund the unused part.

Health and fitness to train

• You complete a medical questionnaire before training. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in it.
• If you have medical contraindications, a doctor’s clearance is required. The instructor may refuse to let you train for safety reasons.
• Wave 1 requires the ability to swim 200 metres in any style and comfort in open water.

Safety and conduct

• Freediving carries risk. Follow the instructor’s directions and safety rules: never dive alone and never attempt exercises you have not been cleared for.
• The instructor makes the final decision to run, change or stop a session.
• We may refuse a session in case of alcohol or drug intoxication or breach of safety rules.

Risk and liability

You understand that underwater activities involve risk and accept it to the extent permitted by law. Before training you sign a liability release. We are responsible for the quality of instruction and compliance with standards, but not for harm caused by your failure to follow instructions, inaccurate health information or circumstances beyond our control. Certification

Molchanovs certificates are issued only after all programme requirements are met. We may withhold a certificate if requirements are not met.

Equipment

If equipment is provided by the school, you will take care of it and compensate for loss or damage caused by you [rental terms to be confirmed].

Photos and videos

We may take photos and videos during sessions and use them on the school’s website and social media. If you prefer not to appear, tell your instructor and we will respect your wish.

Collaboration and partnerships

We are open to collaboration with instructors, photographers, hotels, clubs and trip organisers. Partnership terms (format, commission, use of the brand, materials) are discussed individually and agreed in writing. To discuss, contact us via the Contact page. [This section will be expanded.]

Intellectual property

Texts, photos, videos and the logo on this site belong to High Five Freedivers or are used with permission. They may not be copied or used commercially without written consent. Molchanovs names and logos belong to their owners.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. We may update them; the version published on this page at the time of booking applies.
