From your first taste to certification: two levels, two formats — Wave (theory, pool and open water) and Lap (theory and pool only). Start with a trial session and progress at your own pace.

Become a freediver in 3–4 days: the first Molchanovs certification level. Learn to relax and control your breathing, equalize your ears, and dive safely in the open sea to 12–20 m. Great for complete beginners, scuba divers, snorkelers, surfers and anyone who wants to feel more at home in the water — if you can swim, you're ready.
You'll earn an official certificate and the confidence to dive with a buddy on your own, anywhere in the world.

A trial session in a 5 m pool: your first dive to depth, ear equalization, and the duck dive, with an instructor by your side.
The easiest way to find out if freediving's for you and feel real depth for the first time — no certification, no experience needed.

Freediving fundamentals in the pool: breathing, relaxation, finning and no-fins technique, dive visualisation — the same theory as Wave 1, minus the open water.
A good fit if the sea isn't nearby yet, or you'd rather sharpen your technique first.

The advanced level: working with free fall, dives to 24–30 m, breath-holds past 2.5 minutes.
Your next step toward real depth and calm control of body and mind underwater.

The Wave 2 curriculum in the pool: dolphin kick, no-fins technique, deconcentration practice, and longer distances — no open water.
For divers building technique and fitness while staying closer to the pool wall.

Discover Freediving is a short but complete introduction to the sport under the supervision of a certified Molchanovs instructor. It's not a certification course — it's a chance to try it and see if it's for you.
We cover breathing and relaxation before a dive: how to relax body and mind, take an efficient full breath, and recover properly after each dive.
The session takes place in a 5 m deep pool. You'll try diving for depth as well as distance — learning to equalize your ears and perform a duck dive so you can comfortably reach the bottom.
If you love it, this session counts toward one of the sessions of the Wave 1 / Lap 1 course.

Wave 1 is the first Molchanovs certification level and the best way to start freediving. You'll discover your natural breath-hold ability, learn to relax and dive deeper than you thought possible, and earn an official certificate: it unlocks independent buddy diving and lets you join training sessions at freediving schools anywhere in the world. The course suits anyone who can swim: complete beginners, scuba divers, snorkelers, surfers, and anyone who wants to feel calmer and more confident in the water.
Freediving physiology and physics, relaxation technique, correct pre-dive breathing and recovery breathing.

Lap 1 covers the same theory as Wave 1, entirely in the pool: pre-dive breathing basics, relaxation technique, finning and no-fins technique, and dive visualisation. You can add the open-water sessions later to upgrade to a Wave 1 certificate.
An introduction to pre-dive breathing, relaxation technique, finning and no-fins technique, dive visualisation, and the other core Wave 1 theory topics.

Wave 2 is the second certification level: you train your body for longer breath-holds (past 2.5 minutes) and learn to use gravity on your deeper dives — free fall instead of active finning.
Freediving history, dive physics, reverse packing, advanced Frenzel technique, mental training, injury recognition and prevention.

Lap 2 is the Wave 2 curriculum entirely in the pool: dolphin kick, refining no-fins technique, and deconcentration practice — skills that prepare you for longer distances and breath-holds, no open water.
The same theory as Wave 2, plus dolphin kick, no-fins technique refinement, and deconcentration practice.
